Question New Phone

Hello, i am new to this forum. I have been thinking about getting a new phone now after years of being stuck with my K800i. I want a phone with Wi-Fi, GPS & a good camera but im finding out that they are all so overpriced . I am willing to pay £200-£250 on Pay as you go but every phone these days is like £300!!!. Just wondering if you guys in here have any recommendations? - Im thinking more on either the Iphone or the samsung omnia.

Thankyou

Richard

If you want the iphone then you are looking at on payg £342.50 for 8gb or £391.44 for thew 16gb

The Omnia is not currently widely available on payg.

If you willing to spend £250 then why not wait a while and collate the remaining cash to afford the iphone. It come with 12 months unlimited internet use, then £20 a month thereafter.

I hope you end up with the handset your after.

Hi, do you want the phone to be brand new? Only if you go to the exchange shop, you can buy a second hand (like new) Nokia N95 8GB for under 250. With that you get all the features you want and all the excessories come with it topped with a year warrenty. Its not touch screen though..depends how much you want that.
But thats what I dd, bought the Nokia and I was really happy with the conddion of it, the shop will let you look at several of the same model too so you can make sure you get the one in the best condition.

The origional i-phone believe has dropped remarkably in price since the 3g version came out, pluss if you get the 8gb version rather than 16gig, shud be alot cheaper, I will take a look myself now.

Is the C905 any good & will it drop in price anytime soon? I have a K800i for the past 2 years and have liked them but they dont have the modern features on them like they have today. Like GPS & Wi-fi, which i will find extremely useful. They dont even have trackID!!!!!! they took them off during production to save for the K850 and that pissed me off

Cheers

I mentioned in another thread that I would not go for the C905 due to problems with the buttons going wrong eg. getting stuck or sticking in and having to press them down hard to make them work. It may be worth looking on gsm arena GSMArena.com - GSM phone reviews, news, opinions, votes, manuals and more... and finding phones you like and read the review. I have not found a site better than this one and from experience reading the reviews about the phones I have owned, they have always been right.
