At a loss

apologies for the long post!! Right, my Samsung Tocco is starting to bite the dust and it's really starting to get on me nerves. It keeps crashing and losing calls that I'm making or receiving within seconds of the call starting..and its driving me round the bend.

So, looking for a SIM-FREE phone. Spend amax of £600 on one as I need it for several thing... webbrowsing, Email, sms, msn, camera, video etc. now, iPhone is an option..however every man and his dog seems to have one where i live! So..heres what ive looked at...

iPhone: is an option..but every man and his dog has one at the moment
HTC G1: would absolutly love one of these, but we dont have T1 mobile where i live
HTC touch HD: again, nice phone..Windows mobile is a down point.

Those were the main 3...however ive looked at some others from Nokia, Sony Ericsson. I used to own a Nokia N95 so, dont want a N96 or N78. As for Samsung..the Omnia is supposed to be good but call quality a bit poor?

Any Ideas chaps?

Sounds like you have already done your homework.

Even tho ' everyman and his dog has got one' i phone why should that stop you. Besides its available on payg for £340'ish with a years unlimited internet use and then £20 a month thereafter.
