cant decide.. getting annoyed!

Hi everyone im new here, this is my first post.

This is my problem, my contract with 02 is up next month and i want to upgrade but im not sure which phone to choose. Ive boiled it down to either the iphone 3g or the samsung pixon.

Ive been back and forth on both phones and ive heard good and bad things about both of them but i just dont know which one to choose. The iphone looks really nice, so shiny and "gadgety" but i already have a 30gb ipod and i dont drive so i dont need the music or gps aspect of it. Plus the idea of using a touchscreen qwerty keyboard looks a bit fiddly to me.
On the other hand the pixon also looks very nice and ive had a few samsungs in the past which i thought were very good but the screens always seem to break over time plus ive heard the touch technology on samsung phones isnt that good.

Also if i do take the iphone, i have to pay £100 towards the phone as well as the £35 a month contract, whereas the pixon is free with the same contract. so i have to take this into consideration as well.

so which do you guys think i should get, any reccomendations? cos im kinda stuck on this one.

Ive had both and for me the pixon wins if you have a ipod touch... It as a far better camera no bluetooth hassles no MMS hassles.. Don'T get me wrong the iPhone is great has a multimedia device wi-fi, YouTube, and music, not so good at being a GREAT phone IMHO...

I would go for the pixon any day, even if the pricing you said was the other way round.

Smile

Both fones have their merits.

But both fones do suffer from poor battery life whuch is down to 3g capability and touch screen technology.

If you get the pixon model then its advisable to turn off 3g as this can approx double the batter life.

I hope you enjoy which ever model you decide on.

thanx for your input guys, it definitly seems like the pixon is the way to go. ive been doing some of my own research into it as well and it seems like the iphone is more flashy than useful wheras the pixon is more practical and user-friendly. the iphone almost won me over with all the apps but i just know 99% of them will get boring after a few uses. ok im gona get onto 02 and upgrade to a pixon, once again thanx for your help guys, much appreciated.
