Replacement for Nokia 110
I am currently using a Nokia 1100, but it's getting a little old and the battery seems to be weakening. Time for a new phone. The thing is that I really like my 1100. It's lightweight, small yet the keys are usable, straightforward and very responsive menu. It's just great for a basic phone. And it has a torch! I never thought that would come in handy, but it did plenty of times.
Ideally I would like my replacement phone to have all the same characteristics. The one thing I would like on top is a camera - as high a quality as possible. Not too bothered about other extras like bluetooth, WiFi, mp3 and so on. Would all be nice of course, but none are deal breakers.
I am weary of buying the latest and greatest gadgets as they all seem to have problems things such as battery life, weight, size, unresponsive (slow) menu systems.
The other thing is that, where I live (Bulgaria), you generally have to pay for your phone, so price is a concern. Under $100 would be good, but will pay more for a good camera phone.
So can someone recommend a replacement with a good camera for my Nokia 1100?
Thanks very much in advance.
Handset Camera specs range from 2mp upto 8mp.
I assume your not after a smart fome.
Nokia 6500 Slide with 3.2mp camera.
The BlackBerry Storm has 3.2mp.
The Motorola RIZR Z10 has 3.2.
The LG Viewty has 5mp.
The iPhone 3G has 2mp.
The Sony Ericsson W902 has 5mp.
The Samsung Pixon M8800 has 8mp.
This just gives you a very broad spectrum of what manufacturers have to offer.
Each handset out their has its pro's and cons.
Specs you may/may not use.
Each manufacturer offers different levels of support.
Example : Nokia.
Limited 2 year warranty.
Free Software Updates.
Some cellfone shops provide working demo models for you to play with so you can make a more defined choice.
See if a friend or colleague has a model or similar model your interested in.
Choose several fones and then begin to narrow them down to 3 or 4.
Check your network allows handset exchanges if you make a mistake and choose a handset then dislike it. Check your network supplies that model of handset.
Some outlets such as Carfone Warehouse supply a wider choice, as they just marry up the handset wit the simcard.
Use the internet to seek out user reviews to see what they say about their fones. Do lots of homework before accepting your final choice.
Please let us all know which handset you opted for and why ?

Thanks for the reply lee.
The SE W902 looks intereting. Might be a little pricey for my liking though. I get the impression that it's hard to find a good basic phone which simply has a good camera and not all the other stuff.
Will reply here once I've made a decision.
