Samsung EMERGENCY!!! HELP!
I live in the United Kingdom and I recently broke my phone. I used to live in Canada, and I have my older phone, a Samsung SGH-X426. I had the phone unlocked a few years ago, and I have put in my O2 sim card. When I turn the phone on, regardless of where I am, it continues to say "No Service", even in areas where I always have service.
I am wondering if this phone works in the UK? It says its Dualband, but I am unsure if that will work over here.
A hasty reply would be appreciated!!
Dual band handsets will work in the Uk.
Its possible when you had the fone unlocked they forced it open instead of using the correct unlock codes from the network it was locked to.
This can cause the fone to not work again on the network it was originally on or cause issues with the fone signal.
My suggestion is go to a standalone shop and have it flashed and re unlocked to see if this cures the issue.
