Does any one know? Call blocking, which phone can block individual numbers?

Hello
My girlfriend is a doctor and has a few private clients. Unfortunately one of them has gone a bit mad and is stalking her (the police have issued a restraining order). However she still has her number and calls regularly leaving abusive messages. We need a phone that can block individual numbers (most phone's do have a 'call barring' function but it stops all calls(?). When we speak to the manufacturers they do not seem to know if their phones can do this or not. The police advised that some of the Samsung phones can block individual numbers but I haven't been able to clarify which exact models can do this.
Any help any one can offer would really be appreciated and will make a big difference to us.
Thanks

Hi,

Im sorry to hear about your horrible situation.

Handsets are not set up to barr single numbers.

You could e mail samsung from their homepage to ask what/if any handsets provide this spec.
New URL

I believe some software programmes for smart fones such as series 60 nokia handsets is available.

I can only suggest a complete change of mobile number to rid yourselves of this persons advances. I know that your thinking well why should we have to do this, its not an issue of our doing, but sometimes such drastic action is needed to resolve situations such as these.

If you did manage to block this single number you would have to think what this person could do to continue, such as ringing from callboxes, withholding their number so your handset would not recognise your command to block it. Sim cards are available at such low prices now on payg or even free by ordering via the internet.

My daughter got x 5 free 02 sim cards thro the post recently giving 5 clean mobile telephone numbers that could be used.
