N96 lost key mappings

Eeeek.... my N96 has taken a bad turn for the worse.

It suddenly decided half of the button mappings should be lost - e.g. The back button is now 5, but so is the 5 button, though the number 1 could be 1 or 9, it's not really sure and the menu button works when it feels like it... Leaving the phone off both with and without battery has restored some of the mappings (the numbers work now, just the function keys at the top that are moody).

I've done a *#7370# reset (three times) but still a couple of buttons won't have any of it... Any ideas?

Cheers

Mav

Hi,

Nokia provide a 2 year limited warranty with their handsets .
{country dependant, so check the warranty where you live}.

Book the handset in with a Nokia Service Centre where the engineer will perform updates for firmware and software , along with sorting out the mapping.

Hope all goes well for you.
