Nokia N76

Hi This is my first post on this site. I have had a look around. Great site! and I am hoping you will have some ideas.
I have a Nokia N76 in fact I have 3x of them. All have the same problem, and that is the chrome on the housing comes off in very short order. This makes a reasonably expensive phone look cheap.
I tried very hard to buy new casings from Nokia! But as this phone model was never sold here in NZ, there are no housings here and they have not yet (4months later) found me a price and the parts. Nokia Care Line and Nokia Care Centre have made a lot of noises, apoligised profusley, even contacted me. But that is where it has ended.
I bought an after market housing and my installer said it was junk I was better not using it.
So my question is! What comes close to this in Clamshell/Flip phones.
No Motorola's I do not know if they have fixed the issue I had with dust getting into the phone and making it hard to see the screen which was very poor anyway. That was a V3 puke. piece of puss.
And I would think twice about buying another Nokia, after what has transpired over the last 4months.
I am after a phone around the same size and specs. Not a small phone.
Clamshell, as I have had screen damage due to my work and the phone is always in my pocket.
It does not have to be a local phone, I do not care that much. I will source some how!
Thank you for any comments you may offer. Clive

Sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with Nokia.

Usually they are very good.

Well if your wanting a clamshell style of fone then Samsung would be the natural choice.

Their are scores of models in their range that would surfice.

Personally I would not recommend sourcing a handset which is not supplied in your country as warranties are country specific and if anything was to go wrong the warranty would not stand.

Good luck.
