Nokia Bluetooth help

Trying to Bluetooth connect my new Nokia 5230 Express Music phone with my PC. Phone is requesting enter passcode as is the PC and have originated one but get connection failed each time. Can't find anything referring passcode in the user manual, would appreciate explanation and assist advice please.

you can simply put a pass by your self in both your cell phone and PC.
for example 123 , but the two passes must be the same

Thanks for your response. Have done that but when I attempt to transfer detail from PC to mobile message says ' connection failed' . I have managed to transfer by using data cable however, think it is my inexperience that is the problem I will get someone more able to have a go to set it up ....

I am using the Nokia n series which was unlocked by mobile unlocker and try to connect with blue tooth i am receiving an erro message connectivity failed can anybody tell me the solution.

Seems like this is a problem with Nokia now ! My previous Nokia XpressMusic paired without any inputting of codes or passwords, now I have another problem with this 5130 - it wont transfer music files by data cable.

Have you tried to make connection to PC from your phone. Search bluetooth devices etc. Sometimes it works if devices are first paired in that order.

Yes I did it that way round initially jaltsu, everything seems ok initially the pairings mate and the transfer diagram indicates that transfer is taking place but then up comes the 'connection failed' box. Just been informed by a friend that there is a Nokia service shop in one of the shopping malls downtown so will visit and see what they can do = will report back, might be of use to others.

No problem with bluetooth between phones, can transfer without pass codes etc. It has been suggesed that problem for me may be that my Laptop is loaded with Vista Business ..... any other users had a problem with this when trying to pair ?
