Deleting Broken Image Icons
Hello, I am totally lost and confused so please forgive me if there is a slightly relevant post made earlier regarding this.
This is how it began:
I recently bought a N86 8MP, and somehow there was a lot of hang up going on, thought it was because of some virus from an old Memory Card.
Found a file, 1.exe, setup.exe on the memory card, formatted it.
The images got deleted, left broken image icons in the gallery.
Trying to delete them gives the message- General : SYSTEM ERROR !
Restored my phone to factory settings, no use.
Tried File Manager as well, no use.
The firmware has the latest version, upgraded again, still haven't gone.
This happened about 5 days ago.
And now the problem has compounded to the stage that it hangs even for a message.
I would suggest you hand the fone into a Nokia Service Centre.
Your nearest can be found on Nokia - Nokia on the Web.
Its possible a firmware update will clear this issue.

Each cell phone must be fully functional. That means it must power on, LCD displays work and not broken or bleeding, keypad works, scroll bars works, no corrupt software, no security code or password enabled, no broken antenna, no water damage, no loose or broken flip, display light comes on, display light comes on, ringer works, speaker and microphone work, camera worksand does not has any crack on the body. A red dot that has "bled" beneath your battery on your phone is an indication that it has come in contact with moisture or water and we cannot buy this phone.
