Hi Max
sorry i can't answer your question, but i also have recently got a new L6. One thing that bugs me is i the 'low battery' alert tone that it sends out every minute or so. on my old phone a nokia 6230i, i could turn this off by turning off 'warning tones'. do you know if its possible to do this with the L6?
Obviously I could set the whole phone to silent but then i wouldn't hear incomming calls.

thanks.

Just search for motorola phone tools 4.0 on google and it will come up with loads of sites where you can buy the software.

It is a good phone, but my cingular rep is telling me they don't carry them anymore.

As for the original question, I use Motorola Phone Tools, and as others mentioned it is very easy to acquire.

Have you tried the Motorolla website or kazaa or e-Mule, you can usually get most things.
