ban them from schools or have all the students dump them at the office when they come on the grounds - you're there to LEARN, not chat with other students or adults not in person!

I've not ever had a problem reaching my daughter at school through the office - it's after school I want her to have the phone with her and turned on. On the flip side, my daughter hasn't ever had a problem finding someone with a cell at school to let her make calls that I'd rather she couldn't so... yeah, I wouldn't have a problem with a school ban on cell phones, or jammers to keep them from working in the building.
