No, it’s perfectly fine to leave a modern cell phone on the charger overnight. The circuitry built into the phone, battery, and charger will prevent overcharging the battery, unless the phone, battery, or charger have been damaged.

No. Charging doesn’t place a load on the battery, it charges the battery. The battery is loaded when it is discharging.

Charging your phone overnight has two big benefits:

It ensures your phone is fully-charged in the morning. This means you will discharge the battery less deeply during the day, which improves battery life.
Once your battery is fully-charged but is still connected to the charger, the phone will run off the supply from the charger, so you won’t be discharging the battery. This reduces the amount of the battery’s cycle life that you use, again improving battery life.

No, You can leave your phones battery plugged in overnight. Because today's phones are smartphones with extra protection chips and software. That stop the charging process when the battery fully charged or 100% reaches.
